At The Inspection
We will spend on average, three hours thoroughly evaluating all aspects of the home you are purchasing, from the roof to the basement, and all areas in between. As a Home Buyer, you need and deserve to have all the facts. HomePro Home Inspections works for you, with your interests in mind.
“First Time” home buyers are encouraged to be at the home inspection from start to finish. Your Home Inspector will take the time to educate you on all aspects of the property as he performs the inspection. This is your opportunity to ask questions and get answers.
“Veteran Home Buyers” may feel it not as important to be present for the entire inspection process. You can arrive a couple of hours after the inspection starts. The Inspector will cover the inspection findings, and then do a walk through of the property, addressing any issues or concerns. Again, this is your opportunity to ask questions and get answers.
After we have looked over the home and addressed all of your concerns, you will be provided a full copy of your inspection report, compete with pictures and a summary page. That’s right, you leave the inspection with a report in hand.
Your inspection report empowers you to work with the home seller and negotiate any necessary repairs. Most importantly it is your best tool in protecting you against ending up with a home that would require unseen or unexpected repairs
Although it is important that defects, needed repairs, and maintenance items be disclosed on your inspection report, it is also important that the positive aspects of the home are shared with you.
